Finally watched this movie, which stars Brad Pitt (as Benjamin) and Cate Blanchett (as Daisy).
It is told via diary-reading by Daisy's daughter and exchanges between the women when Daisy is old and dying in a hospital, which leads to flashbacks.
Benjamin is born with all the symptoms of a very old man, and ages backward. He intersects with Daisy, which is why she ended up with his diary.
Nominated for many awards (91), and winner of some (47). The makeup, art direction and visual effects were awesome, which is why they each earned an oscar. It was made by the same director, David Fincher, who did Se7en, Panic Room, and Social Media.
Highly recommended.
