A milestone.

Well, I passed another milestone in my life yesterday. When I went to get a haircut, as the gal was finishing up, she asked, "Would you like me to trim your eyebrows?" Wait just a dang minute..... I can't be that old, can I? YIKES! I am!

When you get on the train (bus) and middle aged people get up from their seat and offer it to you...

You buy something... would you like this on your seniors card Sir ?

, I remember that... and trim your ears, sir? Now they don't even ask... but then again, now I don't even go, it's DYI for me.

The best was when a barber asked me if I wanted my head shined up!

Although I've got a full head of hair, more than most men my age (68), but I've considered shaving my head, like my son. He actually looks good with a "shined head," but I've got so many scars on my noggin, I'd probably scare little children and women! But, it would sure be a welcome relief NOT to have to fool with hair in general. But, I suppose there's much more in life to be concerned with, eh?

Nah... just tell them you're going for the Larry Hagman look.

I still have a pretty good amount of hair on my head but the stuff growing out of my ears is getting pretty wild. Nose hair too. Got to trim it from time to time.

That's why I don't want the shaved head look. People would ask about my scar, and the truth is, I hit myself in the head with an axe once. The poll, but still...

I had the same question a couple times back. A few years ago, I was asked if I had an AARP card (...Retired Person). I said no, but she gave it to me anyway and it was better than the AAA (auto club) discount.

Funny thing is people usually think I'm younger. At least they used to :-(

I feel the same way Dewey. But Mrs. Racer cuts my hair, so I usually have to take care of the eyebrows, ears, and nose hair myself.

And SpecialK I'm like you, looking much younger than I am. I even got carded for alcohol a couple weeks ago.

And 60 is right around the corner.
