Don't you just love it when this happens

From FedEx tracking link:

"May 9, 2008 2:20 PM Delivery exception BETHPAGE, NY Customer not available or business closed"

That's my DA10-17 Fisheye.....20 mins later and my daughter would've been there to sign for it.

Well, it arrived today. I was surprised because I didn't think FedEx delivered on Saturday. Nice lens, but I'm already having some buyer's regret. For the money I spent, I could've been sporting a DA55-300mm instead...

We attempted to deliver your item

We attempted to deliver your item at 11:01 AM on May 10, 2008 in SAINT LOUIS, MO 63105 and a notice was left. It can be redelivered or picked up at the Post Office. If the item is unclaimed, it will be returned to the sender. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.

That's my Viv Macro Focusing TC bought in the Marketplace.

125 people work at this location - that's why I have things shipped to work.
There wasn't any yellow slip, so I went to the Post Office today. They said they don't have the package, either.

We'll have to see on Monday.

That doesn't sound good Paul. Hopefully it will be there on Monday or soon thereafter.

maxwell1295, The 10-17mm is loved by all who own one. Not a lens I'd use much but if you get into it, you can poduce some stunning results. The Tamron will do just fine (it's still an excellent preformer) till you save for a 55-300 and then sell the Tamron to cover some of the costs.

Yup, unlike "Brown", FedEx does Saturday deliveries.

I visited the USPS substation in my office tower this morning and the package was waiting for me. No one there knows how it got there or who attempted to deliver it, just that it was there this morning - so they just handed it to me. <grin>

Bugs and flowers tonight - A and later lenses!

That's why I try to have expensive items, like lenses, delivered to me at work...that and I feel better not having something like that sitting on my doorstep until I get home from work. We have a mailroom and whoever's there will sign for it and either bring it to me or call me to come to the mailroom to get it myself.

Maxwell1295, the 10-17 is a great lens. It requires some work from the user but given a chance it will really loosen you up creatively. Would like to have a 55-300 but wouldn't trade the FE for it! No way. You did well. Can't buy every lens at the start.
thanks
