Oh god that is so ugly, the pen industry is doomed, I would never buy a pen of that shape and colour, doesn't he know pens need to be round and black? Its too small for my hands and too big for my pocket!
I'm just kidding. Its an okay design, though I am no pen enthusiast. I wish Newson all the best, and apparently he is doing quite well

2. His Leica is 1000x more attractive than the K-01. Why, Marc, why?

I guess that depends how the form actually is to write with. Obviously meant for a desk rather than a pocket. Still, when I use a fountain pen I usually want the nib to be directly attached to what I'm holding, not develop some kind of mechanical play where it shouldn't.

I had to google Marc Newson, I had no idea who the heck he was. I do like the look of the K-01 but him designing camera's is iffy, writing instruments is silly, but why did you have to touch my favourite clothing brand Marc? G Star was doing great before you went and prepped it all up

It is most likely weeping because it knows that no matter how much it tries 120 film just will not fit

Holy hell. The quotes attributed to Newson make him sound like a narcissist. I hope it's a fake Onion-like spoof.

"Designing this pen was no simpler or more complicated that conceiving the inside of an aeroplane" Get over yourself, this thing you just designed is a pen. An airplane interior is considerably more complicated.

"It looks easy obvious, instinctual. But it's hiding a mechanism that's part genius, part magic" It's a pen. No magic, no genius.

"Its spare, clean lines make it mysterious looking, nothing about it suggests that it's a pen" It's a pen, genius. It should work like one.

I could glue a ball point refill into a straw. It would have clean lines and certainly would be mysterious as people would point and laugh.
