OT: gmail

any one know how to keep gmail from automatically adding addresses you send to and recieve from. if it's there, i haven't been able to find it.

it's not really adding them to your main contact lists, but just a quick list.

in the chats tab in the settings page set quick contacts to 0

only thing i can really see

i like that setting tho.
it also sure looks like anyone writing an email and all those i send to go into the contacts page which i assume is my address book

the last few emails i've sent thats not in my contacts were not there, in detail I had to add my bosses email to my contacts list even tho i've emailed him a few times already. his email pops up when i type the first letter (as well as any other email w/ similar name/letter) that happens in outlook too, but it's not actually added to the contacts.

not sure if I made any sense...
