This would be a good opportunity to invest in a sniper rifle and use senators as target practice.
Why so violent??

If I were a wedding photographer I'd buy a book, put bogus data in it, and let the couple sign the replica for the photos.
I thought the church or whatever could do that but it is NOT the same as the OFFICIAL. The religious ceremony/function does NOT marry two individuals BUT the Administrative function, signing the register does - AND THAT is what makes it a Marriage.

It keeps people happy for the first few months otherwise, they never bring that photo out again.

I wonder when they'll start banning it in Canada - can't be far behind.

Why not just lay a sheet over other entries in the book, right size and it would hardly be noticed. Its all so ridiculously pedantic.

This is just the usual daily mail overblowing, took some shots for a friends registry office wedding a year ago.The registrar asked folks not to take photos during the actual signing. She clocked the K10 and probably assumed i'm a pro (giggle),she then held all the guests up arranging a series of shots of them "signing" a blank page even suggesting a good angle so it was not obvious the page was blank.

Not worth the jail terms at all.

If you leave them alone, they would eventually kill each other anyway.
No, but the way things are going in Washington, it may come to a point where taking down a politician will be rewarded and the shooter considered a hero.

That's what I don't get. You guys get a free Beretta with every sixth donut purchased, and Rumsfeld's still breathing?

It's not how we do thing 'round here. We let them die, and then remember them ironically.

Our only prime minister to die while in office? He drowned.

We named a public swimming pool after him, in memorian.

Did you ever read "Lone Star Planet" by H. Beam Piper? There was a man who knew how to treat politicians! :-)

For the record - I'm totally opposed to all this talk of shooting, killing and violence whether on politicians or others.
