Stem Cell Research scores again!

My adopted daughter was diagnosed with MS about four years ago and this is wonderful news for our family! Personally, I think stem cell research will prove to be one of, if not THE most important discovery in human history. We are thrilled at this news.

Very happy for you. One of my nieces received a bone marrow transplant for her condition (not MS) and she is doing well now.

It is totally beyond my comprehension how ANYONE could be against stem cell research. But, maybe that's a subject that is best left alone.

Yes, we are all very encouraged by this latest news. My biological daughter was diagnosed with leukemia (1980) when she was 5 years old. Her chances of survival were put at 40%... but, thankfully, after radiation and chemotherapy, she survived. The doctors told us that the treatment would leave her sterile and she wouldn't be able to bear children. I have a granddaughter who will soon be 20 years old! Luck runs in our family.... depending on how you look at it!
