50 shades of gray

Which one do you think would look best for a garage floor?

50, the darkest one to hide rubber and oil marks.

I was kinda leaning toward 36 myself, but didn't think about hiding oil as much.

36. Forget about hiding oil unless you are driving/riding an old British car or bike.

Also for safety reasons, you want to see any oil on the floor.

The lighter shade will reflect more light and open up the area, a dark colour will make it look smaller.

Hi,
The British car or bike does not have to be old. Just ask a Land Rover service technician!
Regards.

If you tend to drop small parts on the floor and want to find them go with a lighter color. If you never want to find small parts you drop on the floor go with whatever color you like.

Agreed! I like #36, #28, or #19.

Service technician? You sound almost American. It's mechanic down here!

My Range Rover doesn't leak any oil - yes, I've checked, it does have some.

It amazes me what they call grey, there is some that look a bit grey, others are definitely not.

#46 is best; dark and neutral. 50 is too blue! :-)

(I lol'ed when I opened the thread. I expected sass, but not of this variety.)

I did darker than 20. Get the glow in the dark chips. Make sure you have plenty of light it is awesome.

I did black ceiling black walls black floor with glow in the dark. It was a working Mini Cooper CRX garage.

Those colours mostly do not fit my understanding of 'grey' (or even 'gray'). There seems to be almost all colours of the spectrum there, certainly hints of all the primary colours.

My garage floor is light grey. It came in the concrete as delivered to the site 15 years before I bought it.

Hrm, I think #11 or 17, maybe one of the darker taupes if there's plenty of light.
