On one hand it's good to get the rain, but on the other... Bummer, we're all getting water-logged.

Did take a few photos but used this rainy day to take dogs for routine vet visit.

Good plan. I took a few from the cover of the car while it was raining pretty steady. When the rain slowed down, I just covered the camera. But when it stopped, I got as many pictures as I could. Lol

And thank you! We're taking it easy and enjoying the drive now.
So here's what happened. We went to visit Mr. & Mrs. Rupert. We camped 2 nights just a few miles North of them in a State Park campground. A beautiful place, at least what we could see of it through the fog (on the first night). It was quite crowded, though. Of the 48 campsites, 3 were occupied the first night we were there. The second night, amidst freezing rain, sleet, snow, and 19 degree temps, we had the entire park to ourselves. Apparently Texans aren't into camping?
Anyway, it was a great trip, and though 20-30 degrees warmer would have been welcomed, it just didn't matter all that much.

The important thing is that you enjoyed the trip. Hopefully next time there will be nicer weather. I can't wait to go camping again. It's been a while, but we're making plans. Caddo State Park is a beautiful place, if you ever get the chance.

Nuh-uh.... Nope. It was in the 60's in the valley this weekend. That was awesome after what we've had the last couple of weeks at home.
Although, the snow was fun to go out and take some pictures. I'm done now. Ready for Spring. Bring on the Easter Bunny. Lol

Speak for yourself! Anytime it drops below 60F it matters to us!

Regards!

Tina ...Hope you are having a great trip!

Thanks, Rupert. It has turned out really nice. We defied the weather and had a good time. It even stopped raining for us a couple of times.
