Very sad - a real blues legend gone. Mind you, at 89 he's had more life than most.

I saw him live back in the late '80s at Newcastle City Hall, and he was every bit as impressive as you'd expect.

A true legend. I saw him live in Princes Street Gardens in Edinburgh around ten or twelve years ago, it was great.

It's sad to see him go. I have been a fan for many years and have had the pleasure of seeing him live. He won't be forgotten as his music will live on.

I saw him at the Rock Pile in Toronto in 69, and again the year before last at Massey Hall. It's not often you see the same performer with performances 44 years apart.

I bought my first guitar, a red ES-335, because I loved the look of Lucille. I'm so happy and fortunate to see this man perform live twice. amazing musician.
