I have become brand agnostic with only certain things over my lifetime - other things still get my vote for best value or bang for the buck. But for these listed items I probably won't change due to good build quality and service.

TV - Samsung
Computer - Dell
Photo Printer - Canon
Laser Printer - Brother
Pick-up - Ford
Tractor - John Deere
Rifle - Henry
Pistol - Ruger
Shoes - Merrell

Well, if Mazdas ever start requiring European quantities of maintenance
I will surely switch to another make...

In the saltwater aquarium world, I'm definitely an Ecotech guy. For weightlifting equipment, I like my Inzer belt and wraps.

I cannot think of a brand that is more of an "underdog" than Pentax.
It is the only equipment type where there is a brand I am completely loyal to...

Guns, TVs, Automatic butt scratchers... whatever works best.....
