Travels of a package

It's amazing to track a package! I've been tracking my new K3 via UPS 3 business day delivery. It absolutely is interesting to see where all it has gone, and is now in Montana!! I know many complain about UPS/FedEx, Postal; but when you see the route a package takes, and the speed in which the arrival/departures are, I think they do a pretty darn good job! This package was ordered Tues, delivery tomorrow. Not bad; not bad at all!

It's so fun to track packages some times!
Exciting:
It's coming, it's arrived at my post office!
Annoying:
Why the **** is my package going east? I live west of there!

Back about 15 years ago. I had a part on order for a customer. The part was a day late, then 2 days late and then on the third day I ran the tracking number and found that the part had been on an epic journey. It had already flown from Memphis TN to Paris France and back three times. It seem to be stuck in a transatlantic version of the movie Groundhog Day.

So I called FedEx and told the nice lady on the other end that I was having trouble receiving the part. She asked if it was a domestic or an international issue. I told her I wasn't sure and gave her the tracking number. Long pause. Well it did make a fourth round trip before finally being intercepted and sent to the customer.

CSA, If your part is still in Montana keep a close eye on it. wtlwdwgn may snatch it from you. He does live in Billings.

Yes, I'm worried Steve intercepted it, as it has not shown leaving Billings yet! If he suddenly has a new K3, we'll know where he got it!

So, Carol, confess, are you outside waiting for the truck?

No, I'm busy cleaning my nose prints off the window, watching for the truck.
