Daylight Savings Time

Ugh, have to change all the clocks back to Standard time. I wish they would either have DST year around, or drop it entirely. Yes, I know some States don't have to put up with it, but my State isn't one of them. Then it takes a couple of days before your body clock adjusts.

About having to change the clocks...
My watch is GPS synced - nothing to change there, automatically done.
My computer automatically changes the time.
Living room clock is satellite TV receiver - nothing to change.

But it would be easier if the clocks never change :-)

Wish the time would remain without spring and fall changes. In Saskatchewan....they have one time system, all year round. I like that.

There is a petition on Change.org to that effect. Probably won't do anything, but it is there.

That extra hour of sunlight sure fades my curtains. Where do I sign that petition? ☺

Careful, clackers. You're starting to sound like a Queenslander…

I am, of course, channeling their thought processes, Rob. :-)

I'm from a country town in Victoria and this complaint did appear in the Letters section of the local paper years ago, but I always suspected it was made up. Editors get bored in country towns. :-D

Rob,
Does Tasmania have DST?
I remember years ago my son was sent over for work for a couple of days - 5 minutes to get there: two hours to get back!
(or was that just the downhill to get there, uphill to get back thingy?)

It used to be interesting in Albury & Wodonga before Vic and NSW got synchronised: so many people cross the border for work!

Well, yeah, you would have what with the dismal weather down there.

My son's experience must have been at a time when we were unco-ordinated/unsynchronised.

Now, you're starting to sound like a Queenslander! Must be something going around…

There's no such thing as bad weather: just inappropriate clothing.

Your advertising claims there is a mountain behind this lake.
WELL, WHERE IS IT!
