More than once a UPS driver has scanned my parcel (to meet their deadline?), then delivered it the next business day.
My insane USPS carrier did this exact thing to me just this week.

I've had this happen several times. And not just UPS..

I've also had misdelivered packages from USPS, UPS, and Fedex... no delivery service is immune. I've even had one time where I was handed someone else's package and they walked off. Even though the address was for an entirely different street and the name was a woman's (I didnt check it either until I closed the door --oops). Just frustrating when it happens.

Anyway, my point is you have a chance to get a lazy driver regardless of the delivery company.

It's not always that the driver is lazy. Their dispatchers set unrealistic, often impossible goals.

That was not the case here. He actually was running about 2- 3 hours ahead of schedule, and judging by what happened to me, I can see why he was running so early. This driver was only with UPS for 3 months, so he took it upon himself to take shortcuts. My regular driver has had this route for years; and they switched drivers around in anticipation for the Christmas rush.

What kind of idiot leaves a package tied to a mailbox on the highway? Best for UPS to find this out now before the peak holiday rush...
