Two scenarios:

1) I'm at home, my girlfriend gives me a shopping list that I am to fulfill the next time I'm in town.
2) We're at the grocery store. My girlfriend hands me a shopping list that I am to fulfill immediately (with a smile, even though 'smile' is not explicitly on the list).

Is she "Using Brian for shopping" in either of these scenarios? Both?* I guess it's a question of whether you consider loading up the shopping/printing queue as a part of "using the Brian/printer". Maybe it should be "partially use printer when offline", but that might make people believe it will only print every other word or it will all be smudgy**.

*This is perhaps a poor analogy, since I am mentally "offliine for shopping" in both cases

**This is analogous to how I usually fulfill a shopping list, including receiving the look of disappointment for performing the job with the quality expected from a dotmatrix clunker from the 80's
