I am left scratching my head as we would provide a simple solution to attaching Number Plates both Center Back and Front on all automobiles manufactured by us. In all the civilized world this is mandatory, as in a hit and run case, Toll Gates and Traffic Signals the authority would like to take a picture of your car.
As also in a world riddled with Terrorism, front and back number plates are a must.
Having worked at a General Motors Factory, I do understand that in the US, front number plates are not mandatory in many states. But I have worked at Car Plants in Korea, Japan and India, and every car had provision for front and rear number plates. We also had lights illuminating the plates at all times.
I hope folks take this as a security measure and not fight the system. I cannot wait for a run away car run over my kid and not try to get the vehicle number from people on the street.
Regards.
