Favourite Movies?

What is your favourite movie?
Mine would probably be The Last of the Mohicans (1992) closely followed by Into the White (2012).

My sweetie says The Lord of the Rings trilogy is the best.

She's pretty awesome, so I'll go along with that.

But it's hard to gauge "best", because different movies seen at different times in our lives can have their own kind of impact.

That's probably a close third on my list. Maybe not...

Too true. My latest favorite is Now You See Me and I'm waiting for the sequel next year. Past seasonal favorites are the Home Alone scenes when the crooks get their due.

North by Northwest. An Alfred Hitchcock film starring Cary Grant, Eva Marie Saint and James Mason. Made in the late '50's...still exceptional in every way.

All time favorite: Dirty Dancing

Second favorite: Moonstruck

Third, for its incredible leap up in technology: The Matrix

After that: All the Star Treks and all the Star Wars. I love thinking about the future. And good guys and bad guys.

That was just on! I was busy cooking so didn't realize it until it was almost over.
