Good coffee smells amazing even when it's just sitting in the packet.

If coffee tasted as good as it smells I'd drown myself.

One of the very few bad habits I never picked up. If you took all the coffee I've choked down and poured into a cup, it wouldn't fill it up. And I've drank even less tea. I always did like the smell of coffee though. Since I was first in the office each morning, I always got the pots started. Just never did like the taste.

Trader Joe's Colombia Supremo whole beans, milled at home, just before brewing in an old Melitta porcelain pour-over brewer into an equally old Melitta porcelain pot. Filtered water heated to the boil. I drink the coffee black.

I also always liked the smell of coffee, but never found myself wanting to drink it. I actually decided. I decided in September 2014 that I was going to start drinking coffee, and I did! And now I love it!

I drink Dark Roast Fair Trade coffee from Aldis. Cheap, rich and delicious. I like it strong and black. But.....in a pinch I will drink anything, even instant.

Best coffee ever was brewed in a coffee can over a campfire down by the creek, where you just dumped in some fresh ground coffee, let it simmer, and strained it through your shirt while pouring into a metal cup with a handle. You needed to use metal to keep the acids from eating a hole through the cup. Nothing else like it!

Regards!

Usually it's Taylors hot lava java, or their decaf which is a nice drop.
They do have a Christmas blend, but as it's so nice the stuff never stays on the shelf for long.
Been meaning to try Death wish, we have a local place that sells Grumpy mule and Cornish origin which I both rate.

Just bought myself my first half decent machine, De'longhi Dedica premium pump, ok it has a pressurized portafiler, but from what i've seen it's a deecent starting machine.
Got myself a cheap Ceramic burr grinder for those beans, and to go with my Aeropress should I go out and about.

I don't know the brand, but the coffee at our local Old West Cafe is some of the best I've ever had. There's another local coffee house called Buon Giorno that brews their own and it's very good. At home, we like Folgers Black Silk or some of the Dunkin Donuts varieties.
