'mirror' they pronounce it as 'meer', why
Thats a regional thing. Another example is "drawer". In most areas of the country it's pronounced "drore" (like door with an R added); but in the North East it's commonly pronounced "draw" (like draw a picture).
New Yorkers and North Easterners don't seem to like the letter R, unless they can add it where it doesn't exist. e.g. pahk the cah, the bahk of a tree. or I have an idear (i-dee-er).
As for the double t words, it's just easier to pronounce them as ds. That's fairly common throughout the country.

Very funny. But who would want to drink Budweiser???? The tag line should be 'you do the football, we'll make crap beer'; and actually multi ball extra time would be a lot more interesting than 'soccer'
Regardless of how it's pronounced, Budweiser sucks It's beer for people who dislike beer.

You're going to cringe when I admit to this, but...

In all the years I was travelling to the US with work, and taking vacations there with my family, I used to look forward to the "watery" beers... my absolute favourite was Pabst Blue Ribbon, LOL Heck, one of the best times was when I was dieting, and I limited myself to Michelob Ultra

It's not beer, but it's a very refreshing drink

EDIT: I just remembered... a family vacation to the Gulf Coast of Florida, back around... 2008 /2009, IIRC... a fried chicken and catfish shack that sold it's own in-house produced "beer" for $2 a glass... I'm not sure there was any more alcohol than there was flavour, but it was June, it was hot and humid, and the beer was *so* cold!!!!

While we are on pronunciation...
Americans have got it wrong.
With 'mirror' they pronounce it as 'meer', why???
Also words with two 't's in the middle they pronounce the 't's like 'd's (butter -> budder, skittles -> skiddles, etc..)
And "carmel" for "caramel"; "sodder" for "solder" (a sod is another name for someone who commits sodomy so maybe a sodder is....)

I see "bumber" written quite often when the writer means "bumper".

Of course, Americans cannot pronounce "Melbourne" or "Brisbane" as they should be said: "Melb'n" and "Brisb'n" when in Oz. When in the US, they can pronounce their cities as they like.

I once heard Jeremy Clarkson pronounce "Bathurst" (the Australian town where there a well known endurance race is held) as "Barth-urst". The "a" shouldn't be with an "arr" sound.

Re "pronounce", we say "pr'nounce" - we tend to drop the "o"
Decade? "dekaid"

C'mon, youse blokes, it's time you started retaliating with the strange way (to you) that we say things.

It's not even a close approximation.
As to the "refreshing drink", well, you're certainly entitled to you opinion.

That's normal to me:

No, it is what happens when some of that flour ends up on the floor. "Oops, I spelt the flour."

Well, a type of wheat. It's also the British English for the past participle of "spell" - or it was when I went to school.

The difference between spelled and spelt (grammar lesson)

How, exactly, are you pronouncing that?

We WOULD retaliate, if we could understand what you said.

The USPS technical training facility is located in Norman Oklahoma.
My coworker calls the 3.2% alcohol beer sold there "beer flavored soda".
You can buy real beer there but only in a liquor store.

Guinness Draught is my diet beer. Really. Only 4% alcohol content keeps the calorie count low. It's also a good way from getting drunk - I fill up before I have a chance to get liquored up.

Most light beers are too hoppy for me. There's clearly a market for them but I'm not part of it.

I like the way this thread is progressing. May it live as long as "why I won't buy a K-3".
