Do you play a musical instrument?

Do you play a musical instrument?

I am currently playing the chanter and will move up to bagpipes soon except I've been thinking how many lenses I could buy for the price of a set of pipes

My musical ability is limited to playing the stereo... My stepdad was a true son of the Highlands, and he spent several years attempting to master the pipes. Sadly, the results were more along the lines of "the sound you get when you grab a cat under your arm and squeeze it tight whilst biting it's tail and twisting its naughty bits"...

Good luck with the pipes, when played well they are the most awesome sound

It's an easy instrument to learn to play, and I love the sound from it. Mine is a handmade instrument, as many are; in the Appalachia region of the US.

Last winter I decided Saskatchewan was too damn cold to shoot outdoors anymore so I took up learning how to play guitar. Still at it a year later. I figure in another 20 years I'll be good at it. Of course by then I'll be 82.

Schooled in the art of drums and percussion, self taught to play a bass (Bass player or fake player?). Currently own a mid 60's Ludwig jazz set with assorted drums added on. Also own 6 basses,a Fender squire, a Dean playmate, Ibanez Geo and a Roadstar II, Yamaha fretless and a Washburn.

Got the drum set while in high school and picked up the basses over time while I was still working a decent job a few years ago.

I used to play violin as a child / teenager, but I've long since lost that skill...

For the last 34 years, on and off, I've played guitar - mainly acoustic fingerstyle - and keyboards. I'm no pianist, but I can knock out a tune on a Rhodes or Wurly Alas, arthritis is slowly beginning to get in the way of both, but for now, I can still play...

Although blessed in many ways, I have no musical or artistic talents.

Nor have I. I couldn't paint a picture of a polar bear in a blizzard, or sculpt a block of clay into a lump of clay.
