I have to be in Eastwood in the middle of Sunday If you decide on Saturday the airport would be a great start. And if were still there in the later half of the day, there's a nice fort at Bare Island, La Perouse and a few Aboriginal sites in the National Park we could explore around the area if the fancy takes us. A few cafes to have a warm cuppa too

Comon Sydneyites, it'll be fun

Anytime after I wake up is NOT too early Plus I don't think doing the CBD thing would be good during Youth Week

Sydney Airport is a big place. As our 'tour guide' where do you want to start?

Only You, Me and Cupic coming (poor Mechan1c needs a day off) ? Can't believe there's only 4 Sydney siders here

Ok guys.

Lets make it Sydney Airport. 9am start. I am going to post a map of how to get to "the mound" which is right beside the new control tower and has great morning shooting options for the main 16R/34L runway + heavy taxi traffic to 16L/34R.

If you have a step ladder your welcome to bring one. Its not essential we are elevated above the fence anyway but a few extra feet never hurts.

I am bringing my Uniden scanner so you can all listen in to the control tower directing traffic.

The mound is located at the end of Ross Smith Ave, Mascot. if you come off General Holmes Drv from the south where the McDonalds/BP is turn left in there and that runs into Ross Smith Ave then turn left and follow the twists and turns.

Here is a Whereis.com map:

EhhhhhhhhXcellenT! Know just where that is. 9am it is (if I'm not late )

Nich I don't know how much a good idea it is to place you phone numbers here. There's bound to be some moron who'll use them for reasons other than a camera meet

There is a small amount of play where the lens mounts to the body which I am not sure is normal. All my other lenses fit without any play at all.
