Doesn't worry me. It makes getting up before dawn for photography much easier.

I guess ours must be ending soon.

Just checked, ends 3rd April at 3am.

Looking forward to the change. Now I can start my full time cycling after work again.

The day time length is the same to me.

When I worked the mid shift for 20+ years, I really liked DST. I would usually arrive home between midnight and 1 AM and get to bed around 2, after winding down. The later sunrise gave me a little more sleep in the mornings. Now that I'm semi retired and usually work days, I prefer normal time.

I know that. I just meant having more sunshine makes it better than it getting dark at 6pm.

Not for me, for birding and sunrise I care about morning time. Plus, it's Flo-ri-da, DST is not efficient. Arizona is smarter.
Actually going one hour back is more pain because my cats don't care about changing clock, they will wake me up by summer time.

I hate it! I wish they would either have it year around, or better yet, drop it. For my astronomy, during the summer months, I cannot start looking at the night skies until around 11pm!

I see a medical report now saying for us oldsters, that DST may cause heart attacks, blood clots, etc. Nice!
It appears you may have more potential of having that heart attack by getting so worked up over this.

It isn't just DST that is in effect here, the Earth is tilting towards the sun more during the Summer months too. May I suggest in this situation it is better going with the flow, since we can't change the outcome, than having a tantrum? Hard to photograph scenes here when you're no longer here.

I'm not "worked up" over this; rather stating my opinion on DST; nor am I having a tantrum! Many state opinions here, are they also "worked up", or having a "tantrum"? As far as "hard to photograph scenes when I'm no longer here; if something happens to me, it surely won't be over something stupid like DST!

BTW, I had my first & only heart attack in my early 30's, & I'm still here; I can assure you, DST had absolutely nothing to do with it!

I read that as "in the early 30s" I didn't think you were that old...
