I recall Jon ( the Third) as the most familiar.
But by that time I was certainly not watching it regularly.

William ( the First) started it off and I watched him, weather permitting. *
and I was put off when Patrick came along.

*In the remote areas in Australia, there was no grid until about 1964; the towns often had DC electric utility, so those with a TV had to have a spinning (rotary) converter
(often in the laundry or garage)
Also a 60 foot high antenna tower with a log periodic and an antenna rotator. Most nights the reception was poor, or dropped out completely.

I like capadli, but I haven't watched enough of the older ones. I remember seeing them when I was little and being a little scared by it all.

But back to the OP, I grew up with Tom Baker, and was a bit of a fanboy. In fact I knitted an epic autumnal scarf while still at school. His sidekick Leila was pretty spunky too.

I could never warm to Peter Davison in his cricket jumper. I could only see him as the junior vet in "All Creatures Great And Small"

David Tennant was pretty good.
I'm with Sandy but every new doctor brings new things to like.

But my favourite doctor is this one:

The graduation ceremony is in March at UNE. She wants to replicate her high school graduation photo. I'm not sure if we got a pic at the end of primary school when she was dux. She must have got her brains from her mother.

Some people have proud fathers.

I started watching Doctor Who in the Sixties. Both our children started when they were babies, sitting on my lap.

Don't forget Peter Cushing who was the first Doctor (see the movies).

Now, who was your favourite companion?

John Hurt is a wonderful actor and my favorite Doctor (but many would say he doesn't really count) ...See post #9 above.

Have you seen him as "Dangerous" Davies in The Last Detective?

I'm a big fan of the Rug Doctor, as we foster a lot of puppies.
