Sad news indeed Carol. Here's hoping for the best and a short recovery. Get well soon so we can see more pics!

Not a problem at all! Yes, that would have been nice had the doctor mistook me for someone else!

Thank you. No, I live too far out of town for them to send anyone out to help with the bandaging, etc.
Are you sure about this? If not, I think it'd be well worth checking into. So sorry to hear the news, though . Hopefully they can take care of it as quickly and completely as possible. Drop in when you can with some new turkey shots . We're all just a few keyboard clicks away - best of luck!

Sorry to hear it Carol, but it is not the end of the world and you will recover, hopefully fast and easy. My Mom had major surgery a week ago yesterday....right breast removed. They won't have to do any chemo or radiation because it was so tiny and had not spread. This morning when I talked with her she was getting dressed to go shopping....she never even took a pain pill since the surgery. She will be 90 in August. Determined is the key word.....

For me personally, the inconvenience and hospital/doctor visits are almost as bad as the disease. I just hate all the tests and hassle, but we do what we have to do. My prayers are that you will do just fine and do it with ease.

Best Regards

Paul, they will not come out this far. I had checked into it with the last surgery.

Thanks Rupert; my best wishes to your Mom! She's quite a lady!

Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery, Carol. And stay on line. It wouldn't be the same without that Montana sky avatar.

7 years ago, I had major surgery on my arm for cancer. Over the weekend a sore opened up in that area; Monday I went to the Dr. & it's cancer again. They have to wait for the biopsy to come back, and will then do the surgery. So if I'm not around as much, that's why.
Carol, apologies, I'm coming to this thread late... Genuinely sorry to hear your news. Please keep your spirits up and be strong (you clearly know how from your past diagnosis), and my thoughts are with you. Go get 'em, tiger
