Bad news for me

7 years ago, I had major surgery on my arm for cancer. Over the weekend a sore opened up in that area; Monday I went to the Dr. & it's cancer again. They have to wait for the biopsy to come back, and will then do the surgery. So if I'm not around as much, that's why.

Wishing for the best possible results for you Kath. It's scary stuff I know and the fear is often worse than the cancer itself. Hang in there!

It's Carol, but you are so correct, it's very scary stuff. The last surgery was pretty bad, ended up with a 6" incision. After 7 years I had hoped I was in the clear.

Thanks Bert & Ted.

Thanks Lori, I'm assuming the surgery will be next week; not looking forward to it. Living alone makes it more difficult, just trying to bandage your upper arm by yourself is a contest in determination!

Sorry to hear you have to have surgery. Cancer is hard to deal with. Does the hospital send someone out for a few weeks to help out with the bandaging/ wound care for a while?

Thank you. No, I live too far out of town for them to send anyone out to help with the bandaging, etc.

Jim, thanks! This was quite a blow and unexpected. Not the way I had planned for Spring!

I am so sorry about the name mistake. I imagine you wished the doctor made the same name confusion when looking at the results, right?
