What % of your camera/lens/accessory purchases are online?

Wow, the result is really surprising to me. I almost always buy from a store, so I can see the lens before paying cash for it. I only bought a couple of lenses online, specifically used ones from abroad. Oh, and also knock-offs, like super cheap lens hood or hotshoe fluid-level thingy
Times really are a-chaning, when even Pentaxians switched to online

Nothing Pentax here for miles. I did buy an SD card at Best buy once, so I voted 90%.

I wonder if the results would be different among Nikon and Canon enthusiasts? I'm not a member of any forums (except for Nikonians but I'm very inactive). Anyone that's a member of another group care to try the same poll?

Pentaxians are more often purists, and I think a poll showed a relatively higher average age. This is why I thought maybe Pentaxians would appreciate brick and mortar stores - kind of like how we appreciate Takumar and FA limited lenses and primes instead of zooms. Guess I was completely wrong

I think they just don't exist near many of us

. Happily, one of my local stores has started carrying Pentax stuff again and even has some Pentax marketing materials on the counter, so that's kind of exciting. I haven't been in since the k-1 has come out, but I hope to be pleasantly surprised and see one in person.

While I did buy my k100d kit in person, since then I've had no worries buying Pentax stuff sight unseen - I expect it to be good and haven't been let down so far

100% as there isn't any outlets or private sales worth pursuing even here in Knoxville, TN. Sorta sad but the variety on eBay and elsewhere is enormous. I'm not complaining...
