Scary in the water, scary on land....makes me want to stay inside with the doors and windows locked until Mrs Rupert comes in from work...when it gets even scarier!

Regards!

Nope...when I see a group of them I don't venture out there!

one of the more "concerning" things about bull sharks is their ability to swim and live in water that you would not expect to find sharks in - true fresh water

"While bull sharks are commonly found along coastlines, bays, and harbors, they also frequent a most uncommon shark habitat—freshwater rivers.

The species has been spotted 2,500 miles (4,000 kilometers) up the Amazon River in South America and dwell in Lake Nicaragua, a freshwater lake in Central America. Bull sharks have traveled up the Mississippi River as far north as Illinois and are regularly spotted in India's Ganges.

Their ability to tolerate freshwater is rooted in salt retention."

- Bull Shark Threat: They Swim Where We Swim

Remember that any shark attack is a very rare occurring thing, (especially here in Kansas)

as far as the video goes - do wet suits come in brown??? mine would have been partiallity brown after that incident
Although there is no "official" warning from DEC, fishermen have claimed to have caught bull sharks in the St. Lawrence River in NY. If true, they would likely be in Lake Ontario also and possibly Lake Champlain. A girl was severely attacked in the St. Lawrence several years ago and it was blamed on a northern pike or musky but those fish are common in most Adirondack lakes and rivers and aren't generally known to attack people.

although as a small child visiting northern Wisconsin and seeing trophy muskies on the walls in various bait stores I was frightened.

my older sister used to yell, "the muskies are coming" and I would run out of the water.
