These sharks are highly aggressive here. The females can get 3.5 mtrs, while the males get to 2.5 mtrs.
This little one could easily take off an arm or a foot.

Always works better that way, yes... Although what I was thinking was more along the lines of "at least the pointy end was kinda already aimed at the swimming tooth-collection when it charged so he didn't have to waste time moving it. "

Yeah, some species are known for being more aggressive... Ours here in this area are pretty mellow in comparison.

one of the more "concerning" things about bull sharks is their ability to swim and live in water that you would not expect to find sharks in - true fresh water

"While bull sharks are commonly found along coastlines, bays, and harbors, they also frequent a most uncommon shark habitat—freshwater rivers.

The species has been spotted 2,500 miles (4,000 kilometers) up the Amazon River in South America and dwell in Lake Nicaragua, a freshwater lake in Central America. Bull sharks have traveled up the Mississippi River as far north as Illinois and are regularly spotted in India's Ganges.

Their ability to tolerate freshwater is rooted in salt retention."

- Bull Shark Threat: They Swim Where We Swim

Remember that any shark attack is a very rare occurring thing, (especially here in Kansas)

as far as the video goes - do wet suits come in brown??? mine would have been partiallity brown after that incident

You are VERY lucky on that front Jim. Perhaps in the name of good neighborly relations, we could organize a " shark swap " program.

He probably did Mike. But what I found most striking about this vision was how calm he was. He was wearing a microphone and not one word was uttered during the attack.

That probably came out in post. It's the "nerves of steel" plugin.

I much prefer our " hobby " to his Jer. I think that the worst thing that can happen to me is getting my finger stuck in the zip of my camera bag.
