Taking a look back: no team (Patriots did today) in Super Bowl history has made such a come back. And good ol'Brady has his 5th ring.
Anyway, I was cheering for the underdogs.

It is apparently Atlanta's modus operandi in professional football... just business as usual.

So glad I'm not a Falcons fan... feeling bad for my Falcons fans at work tomorrow.. they're probably going to hear about it from the others.

Well it was big & yes chock. I go for NE ( dont hate me please just liked Uniform / Name etc) But in another way I wouldnt be too unhappy in the Falcons won ( due to never won & amount NE have won etc)
I was hoping it would be tight but at 1/2 time I thought buggar not a very good game .I almost turned it off ( well did for 5 mins LOL) but it got the better of me.
Tell me why do most people hate NE even before spy gate & the flat balls + why also they hate Dallas?
My 2nd team is the stellers as I worked at HJ Heinz canner here in OZ

I was rooting for Tom Brady, but also hoping for Matt Ryan. I've been a fan since his Boston College days, although I've never been a Boston College fan. (Ohio State all the way.) He was just that good you had to admire what he could do.

I think it is a combination of arrogance from some of their teams players as well as more of it from both team's fans. Both can be pretty smug and most people don't seem to appreciate smugness.

So I think a lot of it is wanting to see them knocked off their high horses...

People didn't really hate the Patriots before Spygate. What really pissed folks off was that not only did the Patriots cheat, but the NFL Commissioner, Roger Goodell, saw the evidence, and then had it destroyed to protect Pats' owner Robert Kraft, who at that point was his pal. So people were upset both for the cheating and the cover up.

But now, even more than that, folks hate the Patriots because they win with guys who, according to conventional wisdom, shouldn't be so great. Tom Brady, Wes Welker, Jullian Edelman, James White. They let All-Pros like Vince Wilfork walk away. They get lucky. The QB whines like a little bitch. Matt Cassel wins 11 games for them and then after he signs a big free agent deal with another team he's one of the worst QB's in the league. Bill Belichick looks like Emperor Palpatine.

The fact that they win so much is maddening.
