Okay, I noticed I was approaching 3K posts today and thought I would give myself a pat on the back at that number and say a few words. It will only say it after this post but it is my 3000 post

Only 4 members ahead of me

I don't plan on catching those guys, but I have to say I am so happy I am here. Like everyone else I have learned more here than I ever could have in a class or reading a book. I really get bummed out when I miss a day and lost when away for two or three days. I have made lots of friends and hope to meet more of you as the years go on. I remeber when the site started and there was only a few. Now there are : Threads: 33,108, Posts: 310,998, Members: 8,691 it has truly become a great place.

So thanks to everyone for keeping me coming back for more.

Thanks to Adam for building a community that I will always be a part of!!!

I agree Pat, it's the learning and enjoyment of the forum that means a lot to me. Happy 3000th!

Congrats Pat - others forums I am somewhat of an active member (a notebook forum , car forum ) I am not even close to 500 posts. My posts here are a testement to the general membership and the fun I have here. I am way more a student than a teacher ...

And you are not that far behind we all started at 1 post

Knowing me with forums and nightshift ... mine is probably on the rise ... although I am finding I can't access Pentaxforums from work recently ... well the page apparently loads ... but nothing comes up ... only the background unfortunately.

Then the odd page loads ... and then it hangs .... not fun

know I have been on the Australian Ford Forums too much ... I am up around the 12,000 post mark there ... was first on the list ... but the Site Admin magically bumped his posts up to beat me ... LOL

And my Yankees are sucking wind right now.

You're right about this forum. My wife asked me a couple of times this weekend (she knew I was on the computer)..."are you on that forum again?" It seems if you miss a couple of days, it takes forever to catch up.
