I think this has been around a while. I did not have much problem - it's the way I write :-)

I remember back in 7th or 8th grade being shown a series of slides with a paragraph with letters missing. you were to write down what you thought it said

you were " scored " on how quickly you could decipher the paragraph correctly

the successive slides added letters until the complete paragraph was revealed

the purpose, supposedly, was to show how redundant the english language was

at least after all these years

is all I remember of the " lesson "
