It will be quite enough to print for magazines.
Well.I have to admit that the comment was so long ago that I'd forgotten it - but maybe magazines were a bad example - the point was that if you've got a camera capable of delivering more detailed images then it's best that that's the one you have with you, all other rhings being equal - as it happens, I took sojme of my favourite shots ith the K10D, but I've always fely more at home ith larger formats than APS-C anyway, so maybe that plays into it too.

I sold my stash of Domke bags as a job lot to a happy buyer who is going to share them with his dad. Buyer was happy, I was happy. I've got room in my cupboard and they've gone on to a new life and adventures rather than landfill. And another forum member has taken delivery of a tripod bag that was way too big for my needs but perfect for his.

Win win all round I'd say.

sold my k30+lens to a PF member - was nice doing a transaction with no hassles. And sold my motorcycle seat the same week!

I gave a slightly older laptop of mine to my sister. It's an HP Spectre x360 15t and it's replacing an old HP Pavilion dv7t. Now I just need to get rid of my Pavilion dv7t too and I'll finally be left with 1 laptop.

You have a fortunate friend. I have to laugh, I offered a good friend my under 500 actuations K-r, DA 55-300 and 16-45 for free. The friend opted to buy a used Canon Rebel (also 12.3 mp) and two non-IS lenses for $300. Why?? Anyhow, I sold the 16-45 and now use the K-r as my tripod mounted product photo and macro camera.

That was very generous of you and your friend clearly has some way to go in his photopgraphy education... The guy that got my stuff does not have the money to buy anything else and deeply buried in his past he once had a fighting chance to do something more with his artistic talent but life took over. It is a joy to see him enjoy his photography!

A nice Tokina RMC 500/8 Mirror and a Sigma 75-200 F2.8-3.5 with haze going away via eBay. I was surprised nobody on here bought the Tokina for the low amount I asked.

Yes that Tokina mirror is a very nicely made mirror lens. I had one for 15 years until the silvering started to bubble ( a symptom of the tropical living). Now I have a Tamron SP which is not better, from my recollection of the Tokina, but is heavier and larger. I am sure that some box somewhere in my shed has the filter kit that goes with the Tokina.

K-70.
18-135mm WR.
55-300mm PLM.

All to make way for something new. K-70 was a cracking camera, but the hankering for full-frame got the better of me. With the rumours of aperture failure, I think a full-frame without those issues present might suit me better!
The PLM had probably the most use between the two lenses, but I was never too certain of the results.
The 18-135mm was a lovely, sharp copy but I'll be looking at getting the D-FA 28-105mm which looks a stunner on the K-1...

Should have kept the PLM, it works very well on the K-1. But just having the K-1 is going to make you happy.

You mean in crop mode or full frame? If I really miss it I can procure another for sure. I was never certain about the Plm even though it did provide me some good photos from time to time.

Full frame is how I have used it on my K-1. Now I have the 150-450 but when I don't want to or can't carry as much weight, it is a good second choice.

I will be sorry, that's for sure ! But truth is i never use them anymore.

The 75-150 was a very good lens especially on the K5, but i don't reconnect with it since the K1.

The K28/3.5 does produce absolutely beautiful colors and is really quite sharp (even against the DFA !), it's really an amazing lens, for sure.

Still, i do prefer to work with the DFA 24-70 or the DA*55 or the FA*85, than those 2 manual lenses. Because yes, MF is part of the issue, truth be told.
