In the Philippines the name is pronounced "JIP"
In Pakistan when I was working in the desert, I discovered that a poor quality dirt road accessible only with 4WD is called a "Jeepable track"! So jeep can be an adjective.

On the Indian side, in Rajastan, we used to call them camel trails.

Not strictly a de-acquisition, but I lost out on my 500mm mirror lens. The price went up at the last few minutes above what I was willing to pay. Someone still got a great deal, but I just unfortunately couldn't go that high right now. I was rather looking forward to hopefully picking that one up. I knew the price would go up at the end of the auction, but I was hoping it would still stay under what I was willing to go. I actually went and bid it up a bit higher than I was comfortable going just in the hopes I could still snag it and then just figure out a way to justify the cost afterwards.

Wow, those are some real prize lenses to be getting rid of. Can I ask why?

I suppose my latest de-acquisition is a set of tires. Must have hit something hard when all the road construction was going on in town and messed up my front alignment. Tires wore like crazy. Rear ones look how I expected the front to look, but the one front tire had a spot where I could see the internal bands... Just need to wait until the tire shop opens up after everyone gets their deer, or at least come back to work on Tuesday. Luckily I can borrow my parents 2nd car.

two Fuji X adapters

I somehow ended up with two duplicates (a Rollei QBM and a Minolta MD) so off they go!

My K-x and a M 28 f2. I liked the lens but it was starting to get less then snappy. The battery issue never satisfied me even after the update. Pentax fail.

Sold this bag to a fellow forum member:

I really liked it, but realized I wasn't using it anymore. Too many bags, and when I want a sling I don't usually use that one. But part of me will miss it, it's an excellent product!

I saw that listed. I recently got the Think Tank Urban Sling and its a stellar small bag otherwise I would have bought yours. The Urban is almost a little too swank looking for me.
