Perhaps it's just as well. Mine was brilliant when new, it was my sharpest and best fave-rave. However it's presently in Japan for its third surgery due to SDM failure - and apparently the one SDM lens that can't be converted to screw-drive. It didn't survive the prior surgeries all that well, either, there was a significant degradation in performance.
The DA* 60-250/4 is also up the creek w/o a paddle when it comes to SDM failure.

I hope you are not having to repeatedly pay for Pentax's SDMalpractice...

Let's see, I told my Tamron AD-2 180/2.5 63B - magic on APS-C, not so much on m4/3...

Also sold a Sigma 30/1.4 DN for m4/3 - terrific optically, but larger/heavier than what I really wanted.

Gave away an Expert Shield K-3 LCD protector set and DA Limited Case #2...

Sold a couple of CPU's, motherboard, some RAM. Might have a PSU to give away soon (need to do a little more testing)...

Sold my second copy K1, and a K-70. Lighten the load a bit

EDIT: Here it is just three days later and I already regret selling the K70.

I finally got around to dumping two rangefinder film cameras that haven’t been usable for years. I finally admitted {to myself} that I never will do anything with them.

A Pentax-branded bag and 110 50/2.8 arrived safely at their new home yesterday.

Corsair 950w PSU (freebie) made it to the west coast.

Good times.

I recently let my A*85/1.4 go to a fellow member. I decided after seeing what I was getting from the DFA* 85/1.4 that it wouldn't see any more use, and it's really too good a lens to not be used.
It was a hard decision nonetheless.

I did the same last year, albeit the FA85, and for the same reasons. I made sure it went to one of our forum members.

Sigma 500mm 4.5 sold. It was too front-heavy and IMO no improvement in images from my 150-450. Nice lens, but the zoom is more useful.

I listed an old Nikon Zoom 90 compact film camera on Gumtree this afternoon, and within 2 minutes I had a reply from a fellow in Melbourne who wanted to buy it for his daughter. His daughter is another of the youngsters getting into film photography. I didn't ask for much for it but I honestly didn't think I'd get any bites at all.

Old compacts that you couldn't give away ten or fifteen years ago now go for a bit of money despite being now even older. Good compacts that went for a bit of money ten or fifteen years ago now go for silly money.
