After nearly a year on eBay and several listings on this forum, my Isco-Gottigen 135/3.5 finally sold. I lost money due to eBay, but at least it’s gone to a new home. I need a few more of my bargain priced, nice items to move! GAS has space limits!!!

I gave a Blu-Ray DVD player to my neighbor and bestie. I’d won it in a sales contest 10 years ago. She paid several hundred dollars to have years worth of VHS tapes of her pageant days, as a former Miss Portland and Miss Louisville and the early years of her 35 year career in television as a meteorologist and talk show host. The tapes included all her interviews from the movie junket circuit. Interviews with Tom Hanks after Big, Sean Connery after Hunt for Red October and Sigourney Weaver after Gorillas in the Mist to name a few. A few years ago the TV station she worked for was sold and the new owners fired everybody and brought in younger and presumably cheaper talent. There’s not much demand for 50 year old female TV meteorologists. And her own show was cancelled after 19 years on the air when the housing market tanked. Her sponsor was big in that segment. She’s been sporadically employed ever since.

Anyway her VHS/DVD player died and she was concerned that 30+ years of documented experience recorded on an obsolete medium would be lost.

That said, I’m mentally prepared to de-acquire a fair amount of photo gear if I can overcome my inertia and actually post it.

I'm familiar with your style, but still can't think of a reason why one would sell a Sigma 10-20... unless you have bought the Pentax 11-18?

I should divest more myself... the problem is that what I should divest is worth about the postage cost...

it never really sparked with me - plus I have a copy of the DA 10-17 (which is fabulous) and an SMC A 20/2.8 (also stellar)... and the money is going towards a future purchase...

I also have the Sigma 10-20mm (f/3.5 version) which I got for a great price (€165) a year ago, albeit without the hood. I have given it some use but it's been far more functional than it has enjoyable, as we bought a new flat at the beginning of this year. I expected to find it more useful but then the advantages of an ultra-wide are often over-stated.

DBG-4battery grip, going to California after selling on eBay. 1.7 ounces over the 1lb cutoff for inexpensive sipping. Ugh.

Yeah, I know... Sigma rendering can be quite unimaginative at times... esp. with old-ish zooms.
...which I'm not completely opposed to

Wow, that's definitely a steal
Maybe they're overstated... but it's perhaps my most used lens (although not always at 10mm).
And I did a house with it too... the real estate agency really liked the pictures, and they turned out to be very effective as well so... very funcional

One older but still useful PC graphics card is gone, and my K-01 is on the way out the door...

Gave a local hospice charity shop four or five camera cases and some 35mm and 110 cameras. Hopefully they'll raise a bit of cash with them.
