Until she saw which one.. . The Behemoth Nikkor 105/1.4 for my Z5 . Some cash was involved also.. don´t tell her.
Yeah, but she's gaining in available space, which seems to be just as important to them as the financial side.

I have had one of those at home for almost 56 years now ...

Sold my father-in-law's house today, one more step in wrapping up his estate. Real estate is crazy at the moment; I am glad we are sellers not buyers.

Yeah, it's pretty frustrating to be on the aspiring buyer side of things right now.

I traded in my 2004 GMC Sierra Z-71 4x4 Ext Cab truck on a 2017 Chevy Equinox. Lost about $3,000 on the truck, but I am done trying to sell any vehicle which won’t qualify for a loan privately! People expect you to be the bank and trust them to make payments. My wife is an amputee and hadn’t been able to wear her prosthetic, due to multiple issues, for well over a year. She can’t get into the truck. Plus, Pennsylvania has the highest gasoline tax in the USA and now oil is going way up. Not good when your ride gets 13-14 miles per gallon.
We have a 2018 leased vehicle which is ending in August. I wanted a vehicle we could both ride in so we aren’t forced into a new lease in August.

Sold my paddle kayak today, got half the purchase price (which was 9 years ago, so very happy). Purchaser was a mom who bought it as a surprise for her daughter’s 27th birthday (she was very surprised and loved it). All good, she’ll get more time afloat with a new owner.

I just buy storage with shelves closer together, and keep everything in my study where SWMBO does not venture. When I go out, I have one bag with one body and max 4 lenses. None of my gear is stored anywhere else in the house, except for one collapsible projector screen in the garage.

If i could be as systematic in the pantry and linen cupboards, then the house would have masses of storage space.

I just sold the three Takumar lenses that came with the ES I recently bought, just need to post them. I got triple what I paid for them and after a bit of lubrication and trying a new battery, the ES seems to work perfectly. Triple the cash and a new camera to play with, that's how I like to do business

Just sold my FA 20-35, I realized I didn't use it, so might as well offer it to someone else!

Well I'm unexpectedly here.

When I bought my kit from another forum member, it came with 7 lenses, so he kinda took care of the GAS for me. Now that I've grown into a preferred style, I'm selling some things off to help fund a new computer purchase for editing. I recently sold a Pentax 10-17mm Fisheye.

Now I'm torn. I have the 35mm 2.8 macro, and the 100mm WR macro that are possibly next on the chopping block. I don't use them much at all, but they are really nice lenses and I'm pretty torn on selling. I thought about only selling one, but deciding which one has been a harder decision than deciding if I just want to sell both. Gahhh!

100 macro doubles as a portrait lens, 35 as a general use lens. 100 macro is WR, which can be invaluable for some.

I hope that helps.

I would never sell my 35 macro, even if I abandoned Pentax cameras altogether.

I would never sell either of those macros. Over a few years, I built a collection of the Limiteds (15, 21, 35, 40, 70) and the two DFA macros 50 and 100mm. This is a complete set of primes for APSC.

I would rather sell my wedding-gift classic English crockery set or my Italian crystal and keep the two lenses.

I have the SMC 15mm Limited as my main lens, which I use in about 80+% of my shots because it's excellent for light painting. I also have the 18-135mm for a walkabout and dragstrip trackside lens, and the HD DA 55-300mm for long range. I also have the 50mm f/1.2 I'm thinking of selling off too, but my wife may want it for getting action photos of the kids. I'll personally not very enthusiastic about that lens.

For my needs, I'm set without the macros, but I know they are highly respected. I may hang on to them depending on how other sales go, but waiting over 2 minutes to export in Topaz DeNoise per photo on my laptop when I have a batch of 10-20 to process, on top of the actual adjustment preview rendering time, and a newer computer sounds really awesome. XD

So would I, but only because I don't care about fancy cookware.
