I don't believe this to be off-topic, if it is please let me know.

Is there a method to test a Compact Flash card for both write and read speeds?

I've done a net search but the methodology used is way beyond me. I do know it is limited by the write speed of the camera but in this instance that's OK, so long as I do the testing under the same conditions.
