Why do I keep buying from Shopgoodwill

Back in December I bought a camera from Shopgoodwill.com (Goodwill of Greater Grand Rapids). I paid for the item on 12/18/17 and a shipping label was printed on 12/21/17. Then they didn't give the package to FedEx until 12/27/17...

I bought another camera from them in January and they got it to FedEx the day after they printed the shipping label...

Perhaps tempting the Fates I bought a ME F from them at the end of January. I paid for it on 1/30/18, a shipping label was printed on 2/2/18. And of course they still haven't given the package to FedEx...

Your GAS and LBA force you to overlook their lack of urgency because you might have gotten an amazing deal??? That is the most likely reason I can think of.

I paid $60 for the ME F and it didn't include the 35-70 AF lens (Just a M 50/1.7 body cap).

I also bought a Pentax Auto 110 with the winder, 18, 24 and 50mm lenses from Goodwill of Greater Washington ($52 after shipping). They haven't even bothered to print a shipping label yet...(Paid for 1/30 as well) I'm really anxious about this one because I didn't scrutinize the photos well enough. In one of the photos it looks like the 24mm has major fungus...Hopefully it's just some external dirt...All the lenses look pretty dirty in the photos...

I think I need to set up my browser to block the IP address...The worst part is I've got a large bid in on a camera that ends in 2 1/2 days...

I finally had a good Shopgoodwill experience. I won an auction last night. I paid for it last night. And it was shipped this morning! At least a label was printed...

This was from Goodwill of Columbus, OH. The only other time I can remember shipping anywhere near that fast was from a Goodwill in Texas...

Because a label was printed, doesn't mean it actually shipped. Hopefully this one was shipped that quickly!

It hasn't been tendered to FedEx yet. If they get it to them tonight I might get it on Saturday.

It seems like the Goodwill locations in California just are all really slow.

I miss the days when Goodwill had camera gear in their stores. Now and then something will show up, but it's rare these days. In 2011 I bought a bunch of Nikon gear, but it's been slim pickings since.
The best thrift stores finds last year was a 50mm A 1.2 for $40, and Dine Dental Kit (105mm Macro; camera; simple Macro Flash) $40

My latest attempt at going cold turkey is going well. The Topcon I bought from Columbus Goodwill really put me off...

I am driving to Rochester, NY (1 1/2 hrs one way) on Tuesday to go to an art center where they are having a photo "garage sale". If I don't find anything there I'll go to Canandaigua, NY where the Finger Lakes Photography Center has a consignment shop...
