That was unclear to me but the stated intent to allow users over different timezones access seems contrary to allowing posts in both by a single person. I expect we get one entry max and it can be in either thread and I expect posting more than once will not increase odds but I could be incorrect.

Adam said yesterday that, assuming we pass 40K today, the two threads would be started tomorrow at 11:00 UTC and 23:00 UTC.

The original rules stated one entry per person - I assume that you're allowed to try in the second thread if you're above 50 in the first thread, because then you're not actually "entered".

Adam has also promised to issue further instructions later today - using sources from email to facebook.
