What's Your Favorite Men's Cologne?

I have several that I like. Polo Green, CK Be, Agarwood by Kanon and Herbisimmo Mountain Juniper.

My all time favourite would be Filles En Eguilles by Serge Lutens. That scent is just out of this world. Subjective of course)

Tough choice, but I think I'd go with Penhaligon's Opus 1870 eau de toilette. Very, very British, and a real treat. Sadly, rather expensive too...

I can't afford such luxuries. Too much is spent on essentials like camera gear and wine.

I've been doing a little research on the "essential oils" used in some of the more expensive colognes and perfumes of the world and it's pretty interesting. I had never heard of something called oud, but I found out that it's very, VERY expensive! Some of the raw ingredients are ridiculously expensive.... like ambergris, for instance. Who would have thought that whale puke would be worth more than gold?

Agarwood is also an interesting.... and expensive ingredient.

Back in the 70s I started using Serrano, and loved it. The parent company (Swank) went out of business in 1992. I now enjoy Halston Z-14. Perhaps there are others I would like better, but, I don't have the time or interest in trying them all.
