Another classic Ebay mis-description

"Tamron Canon 28-75mm Macro Lens. Was owned by a hobbyist so all the equipment was malicious kept up."

I can't think of a wise-guy response to that

Have to say that made me smile. But I can't come up with a good response either (regardless to what my wife may say about me).

Who was it that said, "Better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and prove it." Words I should live by, but I love stress so can't follow the rule.

"Macro" is in it's name, but it more of a close focus, rather than a true macro. I guess this one is a malicious macro

But how do you know it's a "mis-description"? It could be totally accurate

I do prefer the following wording:

Better to Remain Silent and Be Thought a Fool than to Speak and Remove All Doubt.
