Interesting! the depth of field will be very nice. Thats the only reason full frame interests me. Going back to the depth i'm used to on film but with the commodities of digital.

the dof should be very very thin btw... I wonder how far they go in iso and how images look like

I bet it cost me less to put one of my kids through college than that camera does.

Still, when Bill Gates dies and leaves me his fortune (for all the grief his operating system has caused me through the years), I wouldn't mind buying one!

Back is not as greatly designed as front, though.

But sealing, great (and wide) lenses, this could be the future

Well, Leica probably wouldn't have more money than all of Pentax's divisions. Certainly not more than Hoya Pentax (who have some pretty chunky government/private contracts going on, like the laser glass slabs for Lawrence Livermore) - but more money they're willing to spend on cameras?

Yes. Yes, they do. Because they know they can crank out shite for about a decade, and sales will hardly decline.

And in more opinion, Leica makes the downright ugliest SLRs. S2 included.
