Yup! And since Pentax had a digital MF project in the works, it makes sense to have a little interest in this. Honestly, I'm glad Pentax went for the low-end route to get more customers instead of making a monster of a camera that only a select few will ever get to use, let alone own.

That's one ugly camera. But then again, I'm not a dentist.

Leica buying addiction is like the bubonic plague. Avoid!

The next time you see a homeless man, pat his pockets down. You're probably find some Leica glass.

I guess this strays out into uncharted waters a bit, but I really know how much I love the effect of f0.95/f1.0 in images. Of all the things that can be corrected post, adding great bokeh isn't one and the Noctilux f1.0 and that Canon 0.95 really show something unique there. For my type of shooting, I think rather than wait for something that may never come (a K-mount f1.0) I could add something I know would satisfy today.

I'm neither wealthy nor crazy enough to shell out the $9,500 for the new Noc 0.95. I'd consider an older m8, in future if prices move... a lot, and a modded Canon 0.95. I'd still keep my Pentax set-up with my ZKs and VLs for most things, and use this second body and 0.95 as my main bokeh paintbrush. There's already room in my bag for this, just need to make the room in the budget

No, this a PENTAX news and rumors forum.

I am just sick and tired that this sub-forum is filled with non-Pentax news.

Everytime other manufacturers has a major new releases, it gets posted here.
Other times the moderators move these threads to dedicated sub-forums :
https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/general-talk/36641-sony-goes-ff-can-penta...tml#post340984

But then there is already a former thread properly posted there

People don't always check, if there is a thread about it already

Leica made a comment on pricing...

According to them, pricing shall be camparable with Digital Hasselblad of same resolution (38 MPixel). The H3DII-39 is almost exactly 1000$/MPixel

So, it is about a BMW X3 ... a car, not a home
