I can't say I know him personally, but we crossed paths in the post-processing contests on occasion. He seemed like a decent guy and I'm terribly sorry to hear about his troubles. I hope he and his family recover from this and then some.

Brian used to talk a lot about "Karma" on this forum......this news really gets me thinking about Brians situation now , and comments made to me when I had some really bad luck !
Interesting.

I just discovered this thread.

The disaster at Brian's house last November, also claimed three of my lenses and two cameras Brian was doing work on
I hope his insurance comes through and helps reimburse all the losses suffered by Brian and his customers.

Has anyone heard from him lately? Is he doing OK or still needing some support? Curious if he's planning to go back into business, too.

I also hope he's doing OK. He did glorious work on old lenses.

Wow. Just discovered this thread. I am glad Brian and his family are ok. I am sorry for his horrible news. I’ve been preoccupied elsewhere.

Anyone know how he is doing?

Brian did a beautiful job of converting my Canon FL f1.2 50mm and matching hood and caps.

Seems Brian Gohacki had disappeared ! Looks like a lot of lenses are also gone from new and past customers.
Who would have ever thought.
