Who will offer to watch feature films about photographers?

I start
Rear Window is a 1954 film directed by Alfred Hitchcock
the main character of the film is a professional photographer "Jeff" Jefferies (Stewart)

Who will suggest the next?

He’s only a minor character in the film but Dennis Hopper’s part in Apocalypse Now.(Based on Sean Flynn)

Oliver Stone's Salvador (1986) - starring James Woods as photo-journalist Richard Boyle, caught up in the struggles of El Salvador in 1980... A very good film for the era

We'll Take Manhattan UK, 2012, directed by John McKay. The events take place in 1962. The acquaintance of photographer David Bailey and future supermodel Jean Shrimpton, marked the beginning of a new era.

Are we allowing documentary feature films, as well as fictional? If so, two must-watch films are:

"Bill Cunningham: New York"

and

"Looking for Light: Jane Bown"

If you like the setting and storyline of that film, another one to try is "Under Fire" (1983), with an impressive cast including Nick Nolte, Gene Hackman and Ed Harris. It's set in Nicaragua in 1979. Well worth watching

I always liked The Eyes of Laura Mars, but I’m also a huge fan of Helmut Newton’s work.
