Is anyone going to NYC and specifically B&H? I would like to buy one of these VPs but NOT willing to pay $30+ in UPS fees.

That is via USPS - my mistake. UPS is 2 arms and a leg.

I had been considering buying a couple of spare Minolta batteries from B&H, so splitting shipping could be an option. I keep putting the order off in case I come up with something else I want to buy that will make the per item cost of shipping more reasonable.

or perhaps tell me (us) the cheapest you would charge for something weighing a few ounces including packaging. Or maybe there's something wrong with the postal calculator.

Hopefully, Henry will be back after the 22nd.
We on this side of the border would dearly like to have an answer.

Here's a thought. One could actually make a little profit purchasing items and sending then north of the 49th without charging 2 arms and a leg or two.
