to save everyone visiting without knowing what to expect - its a site asking for DSLR donations to help a veteran

there could well be a few posters on here with old kit floating around, seems laudible enough but how to know its genuine ?

I played chess with veterans regularly on weekends. What they really enjoy is some company and simply a cup of tea with all their stories of WWII repeated relentlessly. I enjoyed their wisdom and all the time in the world just to talk to me.
