that is what they [ don't ] get paid to do of course

we should really appreciate the time they put in

[ they are volunteering their time, are they not ? ]

Ditto.

I'm so sorry, I couldn't resist. I wholeheartedly agree, by the way. It's crazy how many more people are contributing so many more photos that I've never seen before, and I'm fairly good at recognising names that I've seen once or twice before. I'd rather them be something I can utilise (as a learning tool or meaningful discussion) than simple posts which don't really offer anything (ironically, like this one).

I noticed this too and think it is very cool.

If they keep it up past the raffle deadline, I agree.

I'm actually struggling to come up with meaningful things to add to the conversation. I feel at this pace i may start talking in circles and just repeating myself. My goal is to at least inspire one post after me so i know i've done my due diligence in carrying the conversation further. Though I could also use the 50mm lens, so perhaps spamming is a way to go

The contest has succeeded in pushing me to post photos and get involved more in being helpful which I've meant to do for awhile.
Now I have a reason to do it today instead of my more typical "tomorrow".

Maybe a different entry requirement is needed to stop the one word posts?

This. This kind of post is why I like Pentaxforums so much. It is the only online forum where I participate nowadays, the only community that I've found which is so relevant.

It's not wasted time if people aim for this.
