This is for those here who suffer from G.A.S. (not the body flatulence kind).*

This is a place to tell your *horror stories* of how you ended up getting G.A.S., any sucessful stories of how you stopped having G.A.S., and any tips to those are trying to get rid of G.A.S/not to fall into the trap of getting G.A.S..




*Note: this is 100% satire, 100% horror story-style laughs for Halloween (since its Halowween season), and not to be taken too serious when compared to other support groups.

Is there a cure for GAS? My word. I would imagine a couple of full camera bags would do the trick, but I can't imagine there are a lot of us part-timers that can afford and/or justify the cost for so much great gear. I will echo what someone else said that some prices have bee quite competitive lately. I'm guessing Sony's mirrorless systems with the eye AF has something to do with that. I digress. I'm still quite happy with my Pentax K-1, if not for the guy behind the lens, that is!

Pretty G.A.S.ed out between my camera G.A.S.and my truck G.A.S.
I want a C.B. radio and a K-40 magnet mount (not a lens) for my truck.
Already have the Uniden R3 and Viofo 129 Duo so now back to camera stuff hopefully.

I sold a NIB AF160C I was sure I would keep the way Smaug hordes jewels - until another member posted a Wanted in the Marketplace. Selling things weakens GAS. Taking photographs with what I have stops GAS.

I bought a broken 50-135 that just needed the SDM wire soldered but somehow in transport or when I moved the rear element got smashed. Doubt I'd even get 20 dollars for the thing anymore so I've been trying to find a replacement rear element.
