This particular video is about music, but I enjoy history in general, and BTS or other videos related to many creative processes, from music to motorcycles.

Easy German mostly nowadays. When I'm not doing photography related stuff, I'm trying to learn German. It's the hardest thing I've ever tried to do.

Whether rally or gymkhana, I always enjoyed watching Ken Block's videos. About 2 years ago he taught his oldest daughter to drive, and even how to build a project car. Those videos gave me a better sense of who he was as a man and a father. A tragic loss.

Non-photography themes only, please. Or is this sarcasm?

I don't watch many movies, and I rarely watch film criticism, but I enjoy the Critical Drinker's channel , especially his recommendations because he and I agree on the importance of plot and characters, but he also appreciates a good popcorn fueled time passer.
.

One of the reasons I don't watch many feature films is because I can go down a rabbit hole watching videos like this. I admire those with the knowledge, tools and tenacity to make old and broken things new and useful again.

My Top Gun: Maverick story: My brother's next door neighbor is JJ Cummings. He was an F14 pilot, F18 pilot, CAG, then started a Navy command track which eventually led to being captain of the Ford, the newest US aircraft carrier. The Navy is constantly moving people along this track as they complete or botch assignments, and as people get closer to the top they have lots of time waiting for the next "track" job and get assignments to short random jobs while they wait. JJ just happened to be available with lots of relevant experience when the Navy was looking for a liaison to the writers on Maverick. I think there were 3 other advisors too over time. He even attended the big Hollywood premier party, by that time captain of the Ford. He's a super nice guy.

I just saw this video which I think I might try to make. The display is available in the US. The stand/frame thing is not too different from a phone stand so I can borrow ideas from those.
